Bread Making Foundation Lesson 1

yesterday monkey n i went for our first bread making lesson.. initially was abit sian cos of the theory.. when we start to hands on, things became more fun.. me n monkey was like blur blur and loss as we did not know wad exactly we are suppose to do.. the aunties all pi pi piak piak and start to mix the ingredients already while we are still washin n weighing our stuffs... well, slowly we get the hang of it and catch up a little.. the chef says first lesson is the most relaxed n that we are abit too slow.. need to buck up.. brought back lots of bread.. really alot.. learnt the two main methods of making bread.. straight dough method n sponge n dough method.. also learnt that besides good ingredient, the process is very important.. need to control the time n temperature.. shaping of the bread is not easy for first timers.. the bread look so ugly when shaping but then when it is baked, it look quite okay.. was praised by the chef when she saw our bread.. anyway, first lesson was a SUCCESS! 3 more to go!
