Hello peeps!

Been MIA here for sometime and I am back with good news! Yes, after searching high and low, left and right, we finally found the ideal place for our wedding banquet. We are moving in the direction of restaurants instead of hotels reason being we have only approximately 15 tables of guests; hotels offer a very grand ambience and design but a normal menu at a hefty price; restaurants offer a better menu at a lower price with a good environment and complimentary items which hotels offer. Well, it really depends on individual whether you are willing to pay for the design or the food.

We have been to Tung Lok Seafood, Roland Restaurant, Peach Garden and asked Riverview Hotel and Peony Jade. Peony Jade is a good choice but it was booked by another couple. Hmm.. listing down the places we went to, seems like not many hor... but it is a tiring process to call, enquire and personally go down to view the venue. Okay, the point is we made our choice! We chose Ban Heng Pavillion Restaurant, formerly known as Dragon Gate Restaurant, at Harbourfront Centre. We were given a spacious room which can accomodate 35 tables on the condition that we have to take the most expensive menu. Different entrance from the main hall, private washroom for guests, bridal room and an old school stage. We have given the first deposit of $1k, next month will give second deposit of $2k and choose wedding invitation cards and next thing will be food tasting and then wait till that day? Not too sure also.

Settled one thing and alot other things to be done.

Simple and ordinary.
I am blessed with a loving family and a bunch of lovely friends.
Currently studying part-time degree course in NUS, for a better future.
A new chapter of life is about to begin.....
